As part of our continuing education program, we will be offering classes to assist with preparation for the National Registry Written Exam. This exam absolutely requires some form of preparation for the average student, due to the format of the test and the high failure rate. Currently, the national average pass rate for this test is 70%, with some states falling well below this figure.

Teaching by the objectives of the national D.O.T. curriculum alone have not made a substantial difference in raising the average. We have taken the time to review statistics from those students who have had to retake the exam more than once, as well as statistics from the registry. We utilize a number of tests from various publishers, as well as national practice exams. Test taking skills are incorporated into the preparation classes.
