The Skills Center is offering both California State and National Registry Skills Testing and Skills Review. In addition, as an American Heart Training Center, we offer the following courses:

The center will be providing testing during the week, as well as the weekend with days and times to be announced. For more information, please contact:

We shall provide work stations at our location for those interested in doing online continuing education.

Our prices are as follows

 

Skills testing and Review $60

24 hours of Online CE $50

Healthcare Provider CPR $40

 

Those of us at the Skills Center understand that many of you have little or no opportunity to use, or practice many of the required State Testing Skills. For this reason, we provide Skills Testing Review for those who wish to have it, at no additional cost. No exceptions are made for those who lack adequate skills training do to lack of practice in the field, or in the classroom. Remember, if you need to maintain EMT Certification, you are required to take and pass Skills Testing.

HERE ARE GUIDELINES AND REQUIREMENTS FOR SKILLS TESTING

ALL SKILLS MUST BE PASSED

NO MORE THEN TWO FAILED SKILLS MAY BE MADE UP ON THE SAME DAY (ASSUMING CRITICAL CRITERIA WAS NOT MISSED)

THREE OR MORE FAILED SKILLS WILL RESULT IN RE-TESTING ( WE DO NOT CHARGE FOR RETESTING)

WE ALSO PROVIDE A MANDATORY SKILLS REVIEW PRIOR TO A RETEST 

IT IS OUR INTENTION TO RETEST THOSE WHO DO NOT PASS  AT OUR VERY NEXT SKILLS EXAM

 

 Be aware that many businesses and agencies that hire EMT's, such as hospitals, Fire Dept.'s, and Ambulance Co.'s, require their employees to have current EMT certifications. That is your responsibility, not the Counties, States, or ours. We do not like to see anyone get "time off" for a lapsed Certification. We will do our best to expedite the process for those who need to get back to work. When you test with us, we will keep track of your expiration date's). We do this in order to notify you when time is getting close to recertify.

Students will not have to wait for CPR Cards, or Skills Documentation. Upon successful completion of testing, your documentation will be provided to you.

 

PLEASE UNDERSTAND THAT WE CANNOT GUARANTEE THAT YOU WILL PASS. WE SHALL DO OUR VERY BEST TO PREPARE YOU TO COMPLETE YOUR SKILLS TESTING SUCCESSFULLY. THAT IS OUR INTENT, AND COMMITMENT TO YOU.

HERE'S HOW WE CAN HELP YOU PASS

1. By providing you with the Skill Performance sheets that you need to pass each skill.

2. By providing you with a Skills Practical Review prior to taking your test.                                                             (This is optional, and at no cost to you.)

3. By providing you with a second chance to retake your Practical Test, should you not pass on your first attempt.
